Dr. Michelle Fadool earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Elon University and holds dual degrees in Exercise Sport Science and Psychology from UNC Chapel Hill. She is passionate about working with athletes, helping them return to their sport with confidence while reducing their risk of future injury. Her treatment approach combines hands-on techniques—including dry needling, cupping, and instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy—with sports-specific rehabilitation, return-to-sport testing, Functional Movement Systems (FMS™) screening, and blood flow restriction (BFR) training.
Michelle brings more than a decade of experience as both a physical therapist and volleyball coach. A former Triangle Volleyball athlete, she has coached with Triangle since 2011, currently serving as the 14 Black Head Coach and member of the club’s leadership team. As Triangle’s Director of Health Performance & Injury Prevention, she develops injury-prevention strategies and customized warm-up and cool-down programs for hundreds of athletes each season. She also leads Triangle’s Power•Tech program, a proprietary attacking curriculum designed to develop power while reducing stress on the shoulder, low back, and lower body.
Outside the clinic, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, traveling to the beach, and cheering on the Carolina Hurricanes and the Durham Bulls.
